We Are One Body

This is an inspiring church song. I heard it in Church and it reminded me of Marcos.

We are one body, one body in Christ;
And we do not stand alone.
We are one body, one body in Christ;
And he came that we might have life.
For he tells us,

When you eat my body and drink my blood,
I will live in you and you will live in my love,
When you eat my body and drink my blood,
I will live in you and you will live in my love.

We are one body, one body in Christ;
And we do not stand alone.
We are one body, one body in Christ;
And he came that we might have life.
For he tells us,

Can you hear them crying, can you feel their pain?
Will you feed my hungry, will you help my lame?
See the unborn baby, the forgotten one,
They are not forsaken, they are not unloved.

We are one body, one body in Christ;
And we do not stand alone.
We are one body, one body in Christ;
And he came that we might have life.
For he tells us,

I am the Way, the Truth, the Life, I am the Final Sacrifice,
I am the Way, the Truth, the Life;
He who believes in me will have eternal life.
I am the Way, the Truth, the Life, I am the Final Sacrifice,
I am the Way, the Truth, the Life;
He who believes in me will have eternal life.

We are one body, one body in Christ;
And we do not stand alone.
We are one body, one body in Christ;
And he came that we might have life.
For he tells us,

I have come, your Savior, that you might have life,
Through the tears and sorrow, through the toils and strife.
Listen when I call you, for I know your need,
Come to me, your shepherd, for my flock I feed.

We are one body, one body in Christ;
And we do not stand alone.
We are one body, one body in Christ;
And he came that we might have life.
For he tells us,

At the name of Jesus ev’ry knee shall bend;
Jesus is the Lord and he will come again.
At the name of Jesus ev’ry knee shall bend;
Jesus is the Lord and he will come again.

We are one body, one body in Christ;
And we do not stand alone.
We are one body, one body in Christ;
And he came that we might have life.
For he tells us.

Marcos *UPDATE*

Marcos possibly was moved out of the ICU, and in a normal hospital unit. We are not for sure positive, but its a possibility. That means our prayers worked. If our prayers moved him out of the ICU, then if we continue praying for his health and a cure and get more prayers, maybe that will happen. Spread the word. Make a difference. We can pray.
Be a life saver.

As We Come Together

As we come together
You and I
Strangers and people
Knowing nothing about you
And you knowing nothing about I
You look at me
And all you see
Is my face, my height, my clothes, my weight, and
Nothing else

As we come together
You and I
Friends and siblings
Knowing everything about you
And you knowing everything about I
You look at me
And all you see
Is my personality, my looks, my strongs, my weaknesses, and
My disabilities

As we come together
You and I
Friends and people
Knowing adequate information about you
And you knowing adequate information about I
You look at me
And all you see
Is my personality, my looks, and
My disabilities

As we come together
You and I
Strangers
You see nothing wrong with me

As we come together
You and I
Family
You see my disability, but rarely

As we come together
You and I
Friends
You see my disability, and nothing else

As we come together
You and I
Imaginary friend
Because these other people
Family and friends
Treat me with a disability

As we come together
Just me
I’m a person.
If only you were a stranger,
So you would just treat me normally.

Marcos needs our prayers because his disease is his disability, and his disability is breaking out so strangers can see.

Marcos Saldana

Marcos and his family are the nicest people you will meet. They are God's image. Marcos Saldana has Cystic fibrosis. A disease that effects his lungs and his breathing. Marcos has various breathing treatments for his CF, but no cures. Many people with CF do not live to see their 30s and with Marcos he may not live to be 16. As many people who have anger have a way to get through it like art, sports, reading, ect., well Marcos's way of getting through his CF is pirates. He loves Pirates of the Caribbean. If we all pray for him, he can continue his love of pirates and may reach 16. Right now Marcos is 14. God lives in him, and God can live in us also. We Can Pray

Why we pray. The Story

Marcos Saldana is 14 years old. He is struggling to survive with Cystic fibrosis. This boy is the most caring, nicest, and happiest guy you would ever meet. I have never seen him sad or cry. Recently he was moved to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit). He has forever needed our prayers, but now he needs them the most. The doctors say it might be his last year, but with our prayers he may be able to live longer. I have known him forever and Marcos is practically my brother. All I ask is that we pray at least once a day. With our help, we can save his life. Remember the phrase, "We Can Pray."
